About

GodlyGals is a group of young women committed to encouraging other young women through the Word of Jesus Christ. We exist to support one another, lift each other up in prayer, offer godly counsel, and sharpen each other through fellowship (Proverbs 27:17). We hope that through our ministry here on the blog and at the GodlyGals forum each person that we encounter will be blessed. We do not do this for ourselves, but for the glory of our Father.

GG started in the hearts of two girls who met as pen pals through Brio Magazine during the summer of 2003. The ministry started out as a community on Livejournal, but quickly grew into a separate message board. After encountering a few setbacks the boards closed in summer 2005, but would reopen again in March of 2006 after God began opening doors and sending people to help restart the ministry. Since then, the community has grown to a thriving group of over 500 women from across the world. With growing numbers on both the Myspace and Facebook GG groups the ministry hopes to impact even more women in the future.

Here at GodlyGals we have been blessed with a wonderful staff of women from a variety of backgrounds. Each and every one of them is here because they care about young women and seeing them encouraged in their faith. Please take a look at their bios to get to know a little more about them all.
