Hello Friends of Godly Gals!
It has been a while since we’ve posted. Please forgive us, and know that we are still here! Life sometimes keeps us busy, and these last few weeks have been exceptionally so. Look forward to new posts coming soon, and the podcast will return as well! I leave you with a favorite verse of mine that keeps me on track.
God Bless,
Jolene
Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
Psalm 34:14

Please stop by the GodlyGals forum and take part in our two week study of some of the women of the Bible. It starts today and our first reading is Genesis 2. Hope to see you there!

It’s that time again. Every 2 years we have to pay our hosting bill and it actually costs quite a bit for the storage space that the podcast, blog, and the GodlyGals community requires. However, if just a few handfuls of you all were able to spare $1 or $2 we would be able to cover all of the hosting for two years in no time. Our total cost for 2 years is $190.
Money only changes hands once. Your donation goes directly to our webhost and ONLY covers our hosting bill.
If the GodlyGals ministry has touched you in any way over the years and if you would like to see it continue, please pray and consider donating whatever you feel comfortable with.
Thank you so much for your support!

Ladies:
GodlyGals is going through a lot of changes and is moving more towards focusing the ministry on the blog and podcast. We want to keep the community message boards open and we encourage your participation there – http://www.godlygals.com/board
However, we are planning on doing a mass account deletion of members who have either never posted OR who have not logged in recently. If you have not logged in during the past year, your account is subject to deletion. To keep this from happening, please log in on the boards and make a post somewhere around the boards (it doesn’t matter where, we just need to know that you intend to remain active). This is a security measure. Please do this as soon as possible.
Also, keep in mind that we are looking for more writers for the blog. If you are interested, please contact us.
Thank you for your cooperation and your continued support of this ministry!

If you have suffered from anxiety or panic attacks or have overcome them, AND if you’re willing to share your testimony, please email Jolene at jolene@godlygals.com. We would like to share some of these testimonies on the podcast, and will welcome call ins for that show as well.

From all of the ladies here at GodlyGals we wish you a joyous holiday. We pray that you will embrace the true meaning of the season – Jesus. And remember it is not just His birth – but His death too – that allows us to enter into everlasting life in Heaven!

Hello Ladies! I hope that your Thanksgiving was a wonderful one. Let’s remember to give thanks to the Lord each and every day. He is so good.
Speaking of thanks, I am truly thankful and the GodlyGals Podcast has been up and rolling on a regular schedule. Elizabeth and I have been excited to get back into things, and really share what has been on our minds and hearts. If you weren’t able to make the last podcast (Our Thanksgiving Special), it will be posted soon! And remember you can check in with us on itunes too!
Here’s the schedule for our upcoming December podcasts:
Tuesday, Dec. 8th 7pm EST/6 Central
Thursday, Dec. 31st time TBD – Our New Year’s Eve Special!
You may have also noticed that our web address www.godlygals.com now leads you directly here to our blog! It is our prayer that our blog will become more active as we adjust to meet the needs of young women and the changing nature of internet culture! If you are interested in writing for our blog, please feel free to contact either Liz or myself and godlygals@godlygals.com OR Liz@godlygals.com OR Jolene@godlygals.com
Wishing you all of the best!

We hope that you’ll join us tonight for another live recording of our podcast. We are getting back to a regular schedule now and it looks like most of the time our podcasts will be every other Tuesday. Of course, there will be some exceptions and we will try to do some on other days to include more people in the live recording.
Some of the topics to be covered tonight:
Worship Idol – The importance of staying engaged and focused on God during worship. We have so many distractions thrown our way and sadly one of the main distractions can sometimes be the worship leader and the celebrity that surrounds that person. How do we deal with that? What can we do to keep our focus on the Lord?
The New Atheism – A recent article on NPR interviewed people on different sides of atheism. The “new atheists” use far more abrasive tactics and refuse to respect religion in any way, unlike old school atheists who, while disagreeing, were most often still respectful of personal beliefs. What does this say about our culture and how can we approach sharing the Gospel with a “new atheist”?
Those are just a couple of the topics and we hope you’ll bring some of your own points of discussion and questions to share.
TONIGHT, Tuesday, Oct 20 @ 7pm EST / 6pm CST
